Flowblock does not collect, transmit, store on our servers, sell, or share any of your data. There is no account, no sign-up and no analytics. We have no servers involved in running the extension at all.
Flowblock saves the following in your browser's own local storage, on your device only:
This never leaves your browser. We cannot see it. Removing the extension deletes it.
Flowblock does not read, log, monitor or transmit your browsing history or the content of pages you visit. Blocking uses Chrome's built-in declarativeNetRequest rules engine, which matches rules inside the browser — the extension is never told which pages you visit.
Flowblock may ask, only if you choose it, for permission to show its own block page (with your session countdown) in place of a blocked site. This is optional, requested at the moment you opt in, and declining it changes nothing about your privacy — blocking still works. Even when granted, no browsing data is collected or sent anywhere.
Flowblock is a general-purpose productivity tool and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear at this address with a revised date.
